Welcome to The Mabel Rose Day Centre!

Our unique day service for people living with dementia is located close to Norwich City. We are a few minutes away from Norwich, Wroxham and the Norfolk Broads and are easily accessed via the NDR.

As a family run business, we have over 25 years experience in caring for people living with dementia. We fully understand the increased needs and pressures that face you and your family at this difficult time. Our experienced Management and activity staff support team are dedicated in supporting you, not only with a variety of activities, but by providing emotional support if needed. We appreciate the importance of independence and living life to the full, and strive to ensure that all our members have an enjoyable day with us.

Set within our 8 acre care farm is The Mable Rose Day Centre. It offers you a large indoor activities area, with easy flowing individual rooms, enabling us to provide you with a variety of meaningful activities and therapies. There is an adjoining garden with a courtyard seating area for you to enjoy the outdoors in safe surroundings. For those who enjoy gardening we have raised beds and our conservatory has a section for potting up plants to put in the raised flower & vegetable beds. We also have a dedicated woodwork room and a small petting area should you like to help care for some small animals.

We are an active day centre, accepting male and female members of any age. We offer a tailored day for younger people living with dementia, our youngest member is 48yrs. Due to our very unique setting and facilities available, we are able to offer more stimulating activities than traditional day services.(for further information on our younger people services please click on the appropriate button).

Your well being is important to us, and we endeavor to help you feel at ease. We treat you as an individual and as we get to know you, we tailor your care programme to your particular needs, providing support and suitable activities.

No matter what your age, interests, skills, strengths and support needs, we provide a stimulating atmosphere, where good quality life experiences can be enjoyed.

Getting to know you is really important to us, where we encourage the sharing and reminiscence of times gone by. You may like to bring in your own personal photos or memorabilia to share. We believe in excellent communication, liasing closely with you, your relatives and carers

Why not join us for a delicious home cooked meal, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients . Our experienced chefs are happy to discuss any dietary requirements which you may have and cater for your needs.

However you choose to spend your day, our friendly trained staff are on hand to give you support and encouragement.
