Welcome to Buddies Day Service!

Our active day service has lots to offer you including our indoor activity centre, woodwork centre, horticulture and gardening department and catering department.

You will be supported at all times by experienced staff in your chosen area, giving you the opportunity to try new activities and vary your timetable so you have variety throughout your time with Buddies.

We are lucky to be based in the middle of the beautiful Norfolk countryside at Heath Farm.  We are located in the pretty village of Little Plumstead close to Norwich City. We are able to access local areas of beauty including the Norfolk Broads and gorgeous beaches are close by.

We offer two very different types of service. These are:-

Buddies ~Socialisation and Activities

and

Buddies ~ Work Skills and Learning Opportunities in Catering, Horticulture/Gardening and Woodwork

All of our members are treated as individuals. Your well being is important to us, and our experienced staff recognise that we all have different skills, interests, strengths and support needs. We endeavour to help you feel at ease and as we get to know you, we tailor your care programme to your particular needs and abilities.

When you join our Buddies team you can enjoy our relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our members enjoy spending their time with us and they are always keen to help new people settle in and enjoy their day. Some come be to learn new skills, expand their existing knowledge and make new friends, but most importantly they have fun.

We recognise that some people do not always have many interests and just want to come to socialise and build their confidence. We are happy to support these members.

You are welcome join us for a delicious home cooked meal, using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. There is a small charge for this and our chefs are happy to discuss any dietary requirements which you may have and cater for your needs. However, you may choose to bring in your own packed lunch.

However you choose to spend your day, our friendly trained staff are on hand to give you support and encouragement.
