We have very recently expanded our Skills Centre (January 2021) giving us loads more space inside. We can now accommodate up to 7 members while we all still keep 2 meters apart at our own personal work station. Outdoors

If you enjoy being out in the fresh air and would like to spend time on the farm then listed below are some of the fun things we like to do. You will need to come suitably dressed with the correct footwear, a warm waterproof jacket in the winter, and suncream and a hat on hotter days. Our staff are happy to advise you.

For our animals, you may like to help

  • Care for our sheep, and in springtime feed the baby lambs
  • Collect eggs from the hen houses
  • Make the rabbits clean and comfy in their hutches
  • Walk our farm dogs
  • Cut the grass, and repair fences
  • Tend to our wildlife conservation area and sensory garden
  • Enjoy a country walk

  • Tend to raised flower beds
  • Water flowers and vegetables
  • Dead head and weed
  • Lift vegetables to use in our kitchen
  • Pick fruit from a variety of fruit trees and bushes

Woodwork Department

Our designated woodwork department is always busy making new things or repairing and replacing items around our farm. Occasionally visitors and customers to our farm ask us to make things for their gardens.

Why not join us in our Woodwork Department, whether you are skilled or just want to learn something new, our experienced staff will support you. Using the recycled wood, you may have the opportunity to help plan, build, saw and stain the wood for projects such as :

  • Bird tables and boxes
  • Dog kennels
  • Chicken coups
  • Planters and raised flower beds
  • Garden furniture

Outings (Currently on hold due to Covid-19 restrictions)

We pride ourselves in being able to offer all our members the opportunity to go out and about not only in our local area, but in some cases, further afield

We have 3 minibuses, which enable us to take small numbers of people out, maybe to different locations, or to one special organised group trip.

Ask any member, and they will tell you how much they enjoy outings!

One of our most popular outings, which happens on an weekly basis is a trip to Great Yarmouth, where we take a walk through the market place or visit a nice cafe on the seafront.

Bowling is also a very popular choice. Whether you’re experienced, or simply fancy having a go, anything is possible

Staff are very in tune with our members, and do their best to make special outings possible. We always welcome new ideas.

Some of the places we have visited

  • Pleasurewood Hills
  • Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse
  • Go Ape
  • The Royal Norfolk Show
  • Flixton Aviation Museum
  • Henry Blogg Museum Cromer
  • Boat Trips on the Broads
  • Walks along the Broads
  • Wroxham Barns
