Hayley Howes, our Community Relations Manager, has extensive knowledge in the field of dementia.
Hayley supported over 500 families during her many years with the Alzheimer’s Society and whilst running successful Dementia Cafe’s within the community. Hayley also has experience of dementia within her own family, so offers support not only on a professional basis, but a personal one too.
Once you attend The Mabel Rose Day Centre, carers, family members and friends will be entitled to receive our Carers Support Service free of charge. Hayley is able to help with all carer issues relating to dementia, signpost to appropriate services, liaise with social services/G.P.’s etc, discuss benefits and assist with form filling such as Attendance Allowance, PIP, and council tax allowance etc.
It can be an emotional journey for everyone involved and Hayley is one of the most knowledgeable people within our community to guide and advise you moving forward – at a time when you need it most.
