Supporting our local community

We are passionate about providing the correct support when it comes to the world of dementia. We have continually committed to support our local community and are proud of the voluntary time we give to the community throughout the month.

We run and facilitate four community projects to date and these are:

The Sprowston Community Dementia Cafe

This free drop-in facility runs every 3rd Thursday of the month. It’s held at the Diamond Centre, School Lane, Norwich. The times are 10am-12noon and anyone can drop in for a cuppa and cake. We have a vast amount of information available and are able to signpost and give advice as and when necessary. We hold a separate carers session here.

The Thorpe St Andrew Dementia Cafe

Another free drop-in facility which runs on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. We’re based at Roxley Hall, Yarmouth Road, Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich, 10am-12noon and again we have free refreshments. Hayley is able to signpost and offer support and advice. We also hold a separate carers session during this time.

Wroxham and Hoveton Carers Group

Predominantly a carer only session for patient carers of the local GP surgery. This is a friendly peer support group and Hayley is able to help with support, advice and signposting.

Thorpe Luncheon Club

This is a fantastic lunch club that is aimed to enable people over 55yrs, living in the local area to socialise and enjoy a home cooked two course lunch. Running on the 4th Thursday in the month at Roxley Hall, Yarmouth Road, Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich 12 noon – 2.30pm.

To book a place for lunch please call Hayley on our dedicated lunch club phone number 07876 689859
